The project involved the comprehensive organization and execution of UFC Fight Pass events, specifically focusing on Combat Jiu-Jitsu, the Eddie Bravo Invitational, and Medusa Combat Jiu-Jitsu. My role encompassed event management, ticketing, event marketing, sponsorship coordination for brand partnerships and marketing activations, as well as shooting and editing show openers, recap videos, and small documentaries.

The client briefing emphasized the need to create captivating and immersive experiences for both live attendees and online viewers. With a keen focus on showcasing the intense competition and dynamic skill of martial artists in these specialized events, the goal was to elevate the profile of each discipline while leveraging the UFC Fight Pass platform to maximize reach and engagement.

In terms of design decisions, attention was given to crafting a visually appealing and cohesive event experience. Venue setup was optimized for both in-person spectators and remote viewers, ensuring clear sightlines and dynamic camera angles to capture the action. Lighting and audiovisual production were carefully curated to enhance the atmosphere and intensity of the matches.

Event management involved meticulous planning and coordination across various facets. From securing venues and managing logistics to overseeing ticket sales and coordinating athlete participation, every detail was meticulously managed to ensure smooth execution. Ticketing strategies were developed to drive attendance and engagement, while event marketing efforts utilized digital channels and social media to amplify reach and build anticipation.

Collaborating with sponsors involved identifying strategic partnership opportunities that aligned with the values and audience of each event. Marketing activations were crafted to seamlessly integrate sponsor branding and messaging into the event experience, enhancing visibility and engagement for both sponsors and attendees.

The production of show openers, recap videos, and small documentaries added an extra layer of storytelling and engagement to the events. By capturing the excitement and drama of the matches, these videos served to enhance the overall viewer experience and build anticipation for future events.

In summary, the project required a blend of strategic planning, creative execution, and meticulous attention to detail to deliver compelling UFC Fight Pass events. By leveraging innovative design decisions, comprehensive event management strategies, and impactful sponsorship activations, the events successfully showcased the excitement and skill of Combat Jiu-Jitsu, the Eddie Bravo Invitational, and Medusa Combat Jiu-Jitsu to audiences worldwide.
